Bar Kochva Meirovitch, the eldest son of Miriam and Menashe Meirovitch, was born in Rishon Lezion. He learned at the elementary school ("Chaviv") in the township and - at the secondary School "Hertzlia" in Tel - Aviv. He was among the people of Rishon Lezion who volunteered to the Jewish Regiment.
After the discharge, he studied at the University of London, Social Sciences and Administration, and was awarded the title Master.
